Further guidance published for the second instalment of the Self Employed Income Support Scheme (SEISS) Grant
Detailed guidance in relation to the second instalment of the SEISS grant have now been published on the government website https://www.gov.uk/guidance/claim-a-grant-through-the-coronavirus-covid-19-self-employment-income-support-scheme#extension
To be eligible to this second grant you have to be adversely effected by coronavirus on or after 14 July 2020. So, if you have returned to working at full capacity this month, as lockdown has eased, it is unlikely that you will qualify for this second instalment. However, if you are eligible you can claim for this grant, even if you did not claim the first grant.
Grant payments are expected to be made in August 2020.
