Beef and Sheep - Benchmark

Messrs xx & xx farm 250 acres (100 hectares) of grassland in near Keswick. The land falls partly under a Severely Disadvantaged Area and partly into a Disadvantaged Area. The farm supports a herd of approximately 60 suckler cows with calves sold as strong stores or finished cattle. The sheep flock extends to 210 ewes with all lambs taken through to finishing.
